A broad-spectrum sunblock that shields skin from UVA+++, UVB, and IRA rays using a combined mineral and chemical filter system. With regular use, it helps lighten the look of hyperpigmentation, freckles, and melasma, while supporting skin against wrinkles and premature aging.
Description
Description
Sun damage builds up over time, as UV and infrared rays break down collagen and trigger the excess pigment that shows up as freckles, melasma, and uneven tone. This sunblock combines micronized zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, mineral filters that sit on the skin's surface and reflect UV rays away, with butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane and octyl methoxycinnamate, chemical filters that absorb UVA and UVB radiation before it can reach deeper skin layers. Together, they provide broad-spectrum coverage that, used daily, helps prevent the cumulative damage behind hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and premature aging.
Key Ingredients & Benefits
Key Ingredients & Benefits
Micronized Zinc Oxide — A mineral filter that reflects and scatters UV rays at the skin's surface for broad-spectrum protection.
Titanium Dioxide — A mineral filter that works alongside zinc oxide to block UVA and UVB rays without irritating skin.
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane — A chemical filter that absorbs UVA radiation, the rays most linked to premature aging and pigmentation.
Octyl Methoxycinnamate — A chemical filter that absorbs UVB radiation, the rays responsible for sunburn and surface damage.

FAQs
What is inside BioSun SPF 60 and how does it protect my skin?
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone) and Octyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate) absorb UV rays before they damage your skin.
Micronized Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide sit on top of the skin and reflect UV rays away.
Is BioSun a chemical or a mineral sunscreen?
It is both, which is called a hybrid sunscreen. You get the light feel of modern UV filters plus the extra protection of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.
Does it protect against UVA and UVB?
UVB rays cause sunburn and tanning. UVA rays cause dark spots, pigmentation and early ageing. Avobenzone is known for UVA protection, octinoxate mainly covers UVB, and zinc oxide and titanium dioxide help with both. [Add "broad spectrum" once your lab report confirms it.
Is BioSun good for oily skin in Pakistan's heat and humidity?
Yes. It is oil-free, so it is made for oily and combination skin. It should not leave a greasy shine when you are out in summer heat.
Will it leave a white cast on my skin?
Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide can leave a slight whitish look, but BioSun uses micronized particles, which are much finer and blend in better. Apply a thin layer and rub it in well. On deeper skin tones, wait 2–3 minutes before applying makeup.
What does SPF 60 mean?
SPF shows how well a product blocks UVB rays. SPF 60 blocks about 98% of UVB. No sunscreen blocks 100%, so reapplying matters.
How much should I apply and how often?
Use about two finger-lengths for your face and neck. Apply it 15 minutes before going out and reapply every 2 hours, or sooner if you sweat a lot.
Is it safe for sensitive skin or around the eyes?
Do a patch test first. Some people find sunscreens sting when they get near the eyes, so keep it away from your eye area. Stop using it if you see redness, itching or burning.
